I just hope if Abraham wins a close but deserved decision, Americans will be good sports about it and not whine about the judges.

Taylor got a draw (undeserved in my opinion) against Winky Wright, who fights a lot like Abraham.

Abraham has about 100,000 time more power, and Taylor's chin has been known to give out when it gets hit hard.

I really don't see the judges being needed for this one.

As long as the decision is deserved I don't think there will be a problem. If Abraham wins 4 or 5 rounds in which he only through about 12 punches some of which missing, I think there will be a decent uproar.

He also had a busted defense. The last time his defense looked perfect like it did in his prime was against Trinidad.

He got hit a bunch by Soliman (that should send off some serious warning signs alone), hit a bunch by Taylor, Quartey even got some shots in that he shouldn't have, and Hopkins was able to hit him all night.

Abraham's defense is a lot more airtight than the one Wright brought with him for the fight against Taylor.

Throwing as infrequently as Abraham does, if he can't get his hands on Taylor, the power won't do him any good. Taylor is fast like a cat. Unfortunately, because of Abraham's turtle shell there may be a lack of very clean shots landed by Taylor as well. Making this a potentially tricky fight to score.

I understand exactly what you are saying... trust me. I was trying to figure out how someone who fights like Abraham was an undefeated titlist at 160 and has never lost a single scorecard.

He's a lot like Naseem Hamed that... he either knocks you out (because he does have very underrated handspeed and timing, so he can get his hands on you with a lot of power more frequently than you would expect) or his power scares the opponent so much that they merely try to survive, rather than win the fight.

Taylor is too much of a fighter to merely try to survive, so I have a feeling that he is going to end up on the mat, like he always ends up when he fights a puncher.

Personally I think Taylor is well aware of his shortcomings and of Abraham's power. I think he's going to do everything he can to avoid a situation where he has to trade. I'm thinking a lot of lateral movement and the most popular and telling punch in the fight being Taylor's jab. Abraham may be able to catch him, but in the event that he doesn't catch him or Taylor's jab is capable of stifling Abraham I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor is able to box fairly comfortably all fight. He look a little worn in 11, 12 but I don't expect him to be out on his feet. Who knows though, could be a whole new ballgame for Abraham at 168.. for better or worse. I'm thinking the difference shouldn't be too great.

I had Taylor-Winky 114-114.

Anyways, on the surface Abraham would seem to give Taylor the same problems, but I don't think he will.

Abraham fights sporadically, and Winky threw a ton in that fight. Not only that Winky stuck a jab, from a southpaw stance, in Taylor's face all night and backed him up and came forward. Abraham, from what I've seen, doesn't really come forward with a jab, and would rather explode with a series of hard counterpunches.

I'm just worried Taylor will try and load up to break through his guard, like he did with Winky at times.
