That's a good possibility, but I am basing my assumption on the fact that Cotto's stamina isn't the greatest, were as many fights just as hard late as he does early. Also I have noticed that Cotto's power diminishes later in fights.

Stamina I agree with. Power, I think it's more that towards the end if he doesn't think he can put the guy away he starts boxing so he's not planting his feet and throwing as hard.

dude what fight were you watchin. hatton won some of the rounds prior to the KO. if there's anyone who tore up hatton more, it would be pac. he hasnt lost ANY round in his last 3 fights.

yeah but I have seen that he tries to take your head off early, but as the fight progresses, and as he tires, he stops throwing hurtful punches, and rather throws keep away punches meant to keep you off him.
