Question: do you just cut and paste all your posts? Challenge: Name more than one ATG that retired with an undefeated record. The greatest always lose precisely because they strive to meet the best. Sometimes they have bad nights, sometimes they are unlucky, sometimes they pass the torch. People nowadays are too quick to write off a fighter because of one loss, however it happens, when in reality most of the GOAT achieved that status by overcoming losses and coming back even stronger and smarter than before.

Unfortunately all this is probably beyond you. I hope you're different in other threads because in anything that is Cotto related you comport yourself like a troll and nothing more.

Lets keep this subject as Pac/Cotto, lets not Protect Floyd so much, and no Floyd cant beat Clottey, Mosley or Williams.

The only reason why I bring up Mayweather on other threads is because
people start bashing him. I don't think it's fair or legit for people to
be able to disrespect a fighter on a different thread then when some
one comes and talks about it, is considered a lover, hugger and
so forth. If the bashing didn't start I would not have said nothing.
I mainly reply to posts that I don't feel is correct or agree with. Not
like on a Pacquiao thread I just bring up Floyd. Usually the people that
don't like him bring his name up first to trash his character.

Gruslter, i have seen all you post and on this thread and how you are defending you point of view and some "facts" that you addressed and let me say this you do a good job at it, even if don't agree with you on the majority but that will be just opinion vs opinions. What i don't get and this has not been ony used by you, is how you downsize Cotto's championships just because they were vacant.

In this boxing era soem of the best career defining fights have been made with out a title even being involved. It more the quality of opponent that you face that rates the boxer. With all these division anybody can be a champion but not averybody can earn the respect by fighting quality opponents.

I beleive a victory over Mosley or Clottey even if it would not be for a title is a more significant victory than beating a Andre Berto for a title.

In this boxing era with all the Ridiculous amount divisions it's not what title you have it's who you have fought.

Nobody is trying to discredit Cotto for his victories over Clottey and Mosley except for the controversy of the fight results. Some people just bring up the fact that the opponents that Cotto beat for their titles were nothing special. And I agree with that. Jennings and Pinto were scrubs. Quintana just had one good night against Paul Williams and got knocked out in a rematch. But I give Cotto some credit for that victory because of the victory Carlos holds over Williams in the first fight.

I think some only remember what they want when I talk about
Miguel Cotto. If people really read what I say about him they
would know that I said he has an impressive resume at 147 in
regards to fighting the top guys I also gave him props for fighting
to the end with the cut. I'm just not impressed over all with his skill
and really never was but he does come to fight. My point is this,
people say Floyd this and Floyd that and then talk about Cotto it's
like he NEVER did no wrong or has dominated his whole career.
I bet if Floyd only won Vacant titles that would be another strike
people would use against him to put a cap on his achievements.
While Cotto has been in some tough fights, he still has YET to beat
a defending champ and OFFICIALLY take his belt and that's the truth,
how am I hating on him? He didn't beat Williams for the belt, he
could have fought him for the WBO, especially since Paul was
looking for a fight at 147. Not fight a NOBODY for it...... if Floyd
would have done that, all hell would have broke lose, for instance
do you think Cotto beating Jennings for the VACANT WBO that
Paul williams had to leave because he couldn't get a fight is more
respectable than Floyd fighting Baldomir and beating him for the
Lineal title and claim as #1 of the WW division?
