Hamed did not have tens of thousands of 'drunken violent scumbag' fans. I don't recall his fans ever acting in a negative way.

To answer the TS, I would say that Hamed had a higher level of fame, but quite a lot of people disliked him. Hatton probably had a bigger dedicated fanbase.

Sadly a fair few Hamed fans turned their backs on him after his defeat, whereas Hatton's have not done that (apart from maybe a few of the guys on here...)
