    Question about Mosley V Margarito

Hi guys, I was thinking about this and I wondered what other people thought.

You know how before Marg fought Mosley he was caught with those loaded gloves, do you think that affected his performance?

He must of known his carrer was in jepordy and that he was in big trouble, so i'm just wondering do you think for this reason he didn't fight as well as he could?

I just want opinion on t is.

I noticed it right away that his mind wasnt fully on Shane Mosley. I'm not trying to take anything away from Shane's win or anything, but honestly you could tell Margarito wasnt focused on boxing like he normally was.

In my opinion, if Margarito was guilty, it could have affected his fight to a large degree. And therefore, he lost as a result of that.

On the other hand, if Margarito was innocent, it could not have affected his fight at all, and he could have laughed it off, and yet still had lost because of Mosley`s sterling performance.

Come to think of it, Margarito would still have lost if the allegations were true or not, it would not have affected the outcome, either way.

Shane was on fire that night, but yeah it had to affect his performance mentally. 1, because he was caught and 2, because he had lost the mental edge of having an unfair advantage. Like they say tough, "karma is a *****"!

Honestly, I can't say. What I think is that he had weight issues. He never went up in weight. He weighed in 147 but hardly went back up in weight. Meaning he could have had some trouble getting down to 147... severe dehydration?

Im not making excuses, he got his ass beat but I think that could have been more of a factor than the whole wraps issue.

It wouldn't have mattered...Margarito was exposed as a one-dimensional hype job whether he had plastered up or not...

margarito didn't look right that night, he looked off colour. vs cotto it was different i remember thinking that margarito knows something cotto don't you could just tell in the look on his face.

i think having plastered gloves did help him mentally, especially when it came to taking shots from cotto because he knew he was going to get his chance vs cotto. imo SSM vs a plastered up margarito would still end up in a win for SSM.

usually he is focused on one thing and one thing only... throwing punches and backing his man up... dont get me wrong, tremendous fight for shane... but no i dont think Tony was 100% there, not for a second that night did i
