Question about Mosley V Margarito

End result would've been the same anyway... fight just might've went longer. The game plan that was devised by Naz, and Shane having the ability to execute it is what decided everything before the opening bell. Shane used pressure, put full leverage into his punches, and went to the body, as well as clinch to kill Margarito's work rate. When you have a guy who just marches forward no matter what, against a guy who is giving you all the aforementioned looks and is as mentally and physically tough as you are, it's curtains every time.

Hi guys, I was thinking about this and I wondered what other people thought.

You know how before Marg fought Mosley he was caught with those loaded gloves, do you think that affected his performance?

He must of known his carrer was in jepordy and that he was in big trouble, so i'm just wondering do you think for this reason he didn't fight as well as he could?

No, Shane performed the right tactics went to the body as well as the head and cracked that granite chin, Cotto couldn't even tho he had target practice for 6-7rounds.

I just find it hard to believe the wraps were THAT much of an advantage. Kermit Cintron is doing fine. So is Paul Williams...and Josh Clottey. Only Cotto seemed damaged by it (according to fans). Maybe it was just his bad defense.

I suspect Margarito underestimated Shane and partied a bit too hard. Not to mention, he seems to be a fighter in decline these past couple years (including the Cotto win). Mosley, on the other hand, was in tremendous condition and followed ****m's gameplan very well.
