If Brock Lesnar switches to professional boxing, that will surely revive the HW Division.

the only people who think the division is good are klitschko fans.nobody else cares.I care but with the list of top heavyweights being arreola, haye, chambers, povetkin it's a tough sell.I didn't believe hbo was having finacial problems(I apologize to one posted who said this but I brushed him off as dilusional)the division really is in trouble.the economy is bad in the states & England which are 2 major players.Germany seems to be doing alright but if it wasn't for the klits popularity there could you imagine how terrible things would get.I think we are now seeing why guys like pavlik & bute are turning down huge fights vs each other(just an example I made).they would rather take less $ for a fight with minimal risk in opponent so they can make as much $ as possible before the economy gets worse.3fights vs lesser opponents may make you $500000/fight but you earn 1.5 million & still have your belt to milk it or you risk losing your belt for 1 fight for 1million & if you lose your pay scale isnt nearly the same without it.don king has been the master of this for years.he's getting every cent out of valuev he can.even that clown "money" mayweather is hurting for cash(bad investments).if hbo can't afford certain fights then boxing in a whole might have to role back the pay scales if they want to keep operating.it's sad but the economy is just that bad.look at all the prime empty seats for juanma's last fight...you could walk up & buy a seat 7 rows back from the ring.lots if empty seats.the camera couldn't hide it.

Sentanta folded, itv in England is having troubles, espn cut weds night fights, hbo is having trouble & it's only a matter of time until other worldwide networks start having issues as well.soon we may only get to see fights live because the local blackouts will be in effect to get fans out to the arenas & casinos.

I think they need to do something.everyone craps on hbo for not airing wlad/chagaev but look how much $$$ they would have lost.151000 us viewers on espn for that fight.they wouldve lost millions.in Germany people watch but I can't watch it.I got a great cable package but I don't get fights in germany or anywhere other than England & how long until hennessey sports doesn't get airtime? I hope the economy turns around.I can afford to go but many others can't.

that's why the division needs the next superstar like a Tyson or Holyfield.let's face it wladimir can't get any network other than Germany to air his fights but mike Tyson could sell a million payperviews at $50/order fighting Clifford entienne.so if the klit fans don't see a problem they are dilusional.

Germany is the place to be fighting out of.lamon brewster fights in Europe now(he's not ******)& I see many others crossing the pond to cash in but that too is a problem.showing up for the big payday.mccline,Rahman,etc.these guys were out of shape & just wanted the $.other than the klits & maybe povetkin all the European heavyweights are a joke & in the states there are not any sure things either.it's the klits( who are not even that good, they were garbage until Tyson,Holyfield, lewis dropped out of the picture)& no one else.that's a terrible division & I'd say the worst heavyweight era ever!

Get real. Nobody over here ever paid $50 or even £10 to see Tyson fight anybody, not even the two joke fights he had in the UK against bums. Remember the empty Hampden park? I think about 1,000 people turned up in a stadium that held 50,000. Wlad's fights air free in Germany and are watched by half the nation, not a poncey 1m mugs. Fck PPV.

maybe not in Germany or England but in the states & Canada they did.how much is the biggest payday either klitschko got for 1 fight? 4 million maybe? Tyson & Holyfield were getting 30 million/fight not including payperview %.trust me the big paydays are in new York, las vegas.nice paydays in Europe but not anywhere near those 2 I mentioned.lewis did alright but he fought all over the world.

to put things in pespective wladimir put 60000 people in the seats in Germany & was paid £5 million(7.5million) & owns 2 world titles...mike Tyson got paid 5 million to embarrass himself vs kevin mcbride.how many people there? That one guy said no one was there.sorry buddy the klits don't draw outside Germany.if Tyson or Holyfield would have got 30million in a 10000 seat stadium.
