Whites have always been rooting for other whites. Everyone knows this. It's not like it's something new. BTW Most Blacks root from blacks from their own country. African-Americans support African-Americans NOT Africans or Afro-Latinos and vice versa. The difference is guys like you support all whites. The problem on its face wouldn't be rooting for white fighters if you're white. The problem would be, I think, if you rooted only for a white fighter no matter the circumstance I suppose. I'm black and I actually wanted Hatton and Oscar to win over Floyd, and I was becoming quite the Margarito fan until the cheating surfaced and I like both Klits. I favored Pavlik over BHop too.

The bros. don't get any respect because much of their competition couldn't bother with getting into proper shape for a heavyweight bout for one AND they're not crazy, villains, or super flashy (something the American media loves in its high profile athletes because tv viewers are drawn to that crap).

Why should I support Amir Khan when apparently he has flown the Pakistani flag at some of his matches in England FFS. I wouldn't support him anyway. The idea that a black or brown person can be English is just as ridiculous as the idea that I could ever be considered black or Chinese.

im not really a fan of khan. but i become a fan of a fighter based on how they fight. im a fan of arthur abraham, carl froch and tomasz adamek cuz they can fight. hopkins, mosley and pascal cuz they can fight. lopez and the marquez bros, because they can fight! i like their styles and is impressed by their skills. thats why i like them. what they do in the ring, cuz thats what matters to a boxing fan. the acctual boxing, not the colour of the skin.
