That's ridiculous. Football fans root for their home team (why I don't know, their teams are just a collection of mercanaries playing for the highest bidder) they don't root for the best team, they root for "THEIR" team. My team is team Euro and it doesn't matter where they're from.

Football is a team sport,so I dont really see the relevance.Of course you support your home team,me too(more is the pity!). but team Euro? is that the same team that includes Amir Khan,David Haye, Kell Brook etc.?

I don't care about fighters' race like most of the fans. I'm pretty sure if you're a Tommy Morrison fan, you will hate the Klits'style. They jab, jab, jab, put on clinics and make fighters quit. They're not crowd pleasing offensive dudes who fight to KO people.

Lennox Lewis suffered the same kind of criticism from the fans before the Tyson fight. Lewis is black and for a long time didn't get the credit he deserved because of his cautious style. Chris Byrd has never been respected in the boxing business for his feather-fists and his super defensive style.

Joe Calzaghe is NOT one of the best boxers who has ever lived. In the last 20 years i can think of several middleweights who were better than him: Toney, McClellan, Benn, Hopkins, Jones Jr and McCallum.
He deserved to be called great for his tainted achievements against a pretty poor opposition but you have to admit that he slaps a lot and is awkward.
