Green fighting Miranda would not prove anything at this point. But I do agree that his resume is shallow at best. For a guy who has fought on TV for most of his fights, he sure has not fought anyone. He should have at least fought/beat 2 Top-10 rated fighters at this point in his career. He needs to stop running his mouth and fight more. But the other side is, how many fighters are willing to get in the ring with him for a modest payday? Green vs Bika. The winner should be guaranteed a title shot.

I agree that Green fighting the 2009 version of Miranda probably doesn't prove much, but neither does Green fighting Carlos De Leon Jr. He and his manager run their mouths all the time about how great he is but looking at his resume there isn't ONE single name there that makes me think "Wow, that's a good win."Green fighting Miranda would not prove anything at this point. What I DO see is the loss to Miranda, way too much time between fights for a guy fighting bums (including 10 months of inactivity in 2008), and blown opportunities to fight Pavlik and Bute.
Green is the LAST person in the division who should be bitching about his predicament.
And the funny thing is... I actually enjoy Green as a fighter. He's got potential. He just needs to shut up and do something with it.Comment
