The Klitschkos grew up in Germany where Schmeling is from and since Vitali is a boxer and grew up in the same country I am sure Schmeling was an idol of his. I don't think it is racist at all.

Both brothers moved to germany in their 20s when Wlad won his olympic gold(for Ukraine). Vitaly also is an influential politician in Ukrainian parliament, hardly a feat for someone who grew up in Germany?
Not just slagging him off because i'm a Haye fan but, I was reading his profile on Wikipedia and it says he has a son called Max, named after Max Schmeling who was in the Hitler youth. I mean its like me naming my kid Adolf!!!
With people in this forum going completely SCHIZO over any race issues, the only way Vitaliy could have convinced people here that he is not a racist is by naming his son Malcom X.
