Not just slagging him off because i'm a Haye fan but, I was reading his profile on Wikipedia and it says he has a son called Max, named after Max Schmeling who was in the Hitler youth. I mean its like me naming my kid Adolf!!!
Schmeling was not a partizan or member of the **** party. He actually saved ***ish kids by putting his own life in danger.
So no, i don't think Vitali is racist for naming his son Max. I don't think either klitchsko are racist as a matter of fact.
That being said a lot of their fans on here are racist and in their little minds the fact that white boxers are doing good has a link with white supremacy, thats a whole other story though.

It's funny, but I've never seen a black person in the audience of a boxing match cheer when a white boy beats a black boxer regardless of what countries the boxers are representing.

If you don't allow the names of people being a **** or being in the Hitler youth, you would need to create a few hundred new names for germans...there have been a few hundred thousand of people in the HJ ...

Vitali is part ***ish, I fail to see how anyone with even an iota of ***ish blood in them would be sympathetic to the **** cause.
As for Schmeling he happened to be in the **** party but wasn't of any importance except for PR related events.
Regarding Hitler (and this brings me back to my first statement), people forget (or simply didn't know) that he was actually one of the most important and popular men in the world at the time.
Infact, he even won the Time Magazine 'Man of the Year' award in 1938. He was considered a hero and a role model for Americans and Brits for his autarky reforms and other policies. He was genuinely admired the world over.
If you had said "I am a National Socialist" to anyone in 1930's America or Britain it would have been viewed as a good thing.
