That's the one thing I am wondering, but we dunno what the catch-weight will be whether its 142-145 nothing has been decided yet and also the deal with DLH was that he weighed the limit on fight night (147) when he was dehydrated so I think if they do the same to Cotto it could make a difference.
At the end of the day, nobody knows what affect it could have until the night of the fight... for all we know it could have no affect but then we could see it could have a huge affect, nobody will know.Comment

He's never said it or had any real excuse for that performance, but if you look at the beginning of the fight before Mosley even hit him and compare him to his past fights, he didn't look the same, he didn't look as strong as before either.Comment

exactly it is an excuse.Comment

I agree that there are different interpretations of what a WW is, but your interpretation is in the minority and not the official interpretation as per real boxing organizations.
then cotto shouldn't take teh fight. that fact that he is willing to take the fight at that weight means you have a pointless argument.
no, it just shows that he want's to make that fight happen... when the fight begins, he will see if that affected him or not, just like De La Hoya found out when he was unable to rehydrate due to the stress he put his body through.Comment

From what I have read, for every pound he was over the WW limit on fight night, he owed Pacquiao a certain sum of money... this kinda adds up as why do you think DLH would weigh 147 on fight night? Why would he have re hydrated in the dressing room? If he could of weight whatever he wanted on fight night do you honestly believe he would go in at 147?Comment

HAHAHAHAHA...isnt manny pacquiao the same COWARD who charged a corpse version of morales a few hundred grand if he was a pound over in their 3rd pointless match??
seriously screw you pacfans..manny is a ****en bull****ter who NEEDS his opponents weight drained AND OR PAST PRIME..Comment

that's what I said, your interpretation is the minority interpretation and not used by REAL boxing organizations
no, it just shows that he want's to make that fight happen... when the fight begins, he will see if that affected him or not, just like De La Hoya found out when he was unable to rehydrate due to the stress he put his body through.
if cotto can't make 145 lbs safely and perform at his best then he should not make the fight. if he does sign to fight at 145 lbs, that means if pac starts owning him then it is a legit owning.Comment

All complaining is about the affect that weight cut could have on Cotto, it doesn't matter if he put's 20 lbs on after the weigh-ins if weight cut screws him up, someone who never cut weight can't understand that, and how one more pound can affect someone.Comment

I'm not trying to discredit Mosley's win because he would have won anyway, but Margarito was looking dehydrated.Comment
