Offical weigh in of his last fight was 146 and people are making such a big deal that Pac is asking for 145 AYFS? ( Are you F serious).

Also, pls stop the drained weight issue on Pac. Its just idiotic.

This has been done to death. If it ends in a KO, neither guy can get full cred cuz the other got weight as a built in excuse. Really wish they'd just face guys in their own divisions. I ain't surprised as soon as the weight talk cooled down a lil bit, it turned to the usual bull**** about the purse split. LMAO if the fight don't happen.

Why does Pac team want it at 145 instead of 147 if it doesn't give them an edge?

How 145 is legit when the limit should be 147?

I agree that Cotto wont be too bad because of teh weight. But he will get affected by it.

              Light WW max limit 140.
              WW is 141-147.

So if the place was held at....141 what weight division would that be? WW.
How about if at the weigh in they were 142? WW.
Ok so, this one is tricky ,but what if they weighed 143 1/2? Again WW.
You mean to tell me that if the fight is anywhere from 141-147 that its WW? Yes.
NO WAY! I don't believe it.

First, I'll admit that 143 was mentioned. If you check any recent blog about the fight now is that the asking catchweight is 145 to the least. um check.

Get this through your thick skull....the Clottey fight, Cotto came in at official weigh in at 146!

Now you're telling me that dropping 1 more lb. this is horse****?

Is your logic fight him at 147 or don't fight at all?

Because IMO even if the fight is at 145 Cotto still has upper edge.

All this talk about Pac's opponents being handicapped because they had to weigh in 5 lbs less than their prime state. Do you ever care to think how weight Pac has had to come up since his debut?

Again, WW is 141-147. Now try to wrap your mind around that.

if this is a title fight, than only 147 lbs weight limit is acceptable... if this is not title fight, than 145 is fine by me.

anyway, pac should fight in his weight division (140 lbs or 135) while Cotto is fighting at WW, and that's it.

i hate this catch weight stuff.

145 lbs isn't giving pac an edge, its leveling the playing field (but that won't stop cotto from being 10 lbs heavier than pac on fight night).

both guys should be fighting guys in their own division.

if pbf is a ***** for fighting jmm (supposedly at a catchweight of 144 lbs), then what does that make cotto?
I agree that Cotto wont be too bad because of teh weight. But he will get affected by it.
as long as cotto can rehydrate to be basically a middleweight, it won't matter much at all.
