Why would he have re hydrated in the dressing room? If he could of weight whatever he wanted on fight night do you honestly believe he would go in at 147?
By the way I could be wrong, I am just saying I read it somewhere ages ago... if that isn't the case why did DLH weigh 147 on fight night and have to be rehydrate in the dressing room?

De La Hoya had to be at 147 at the weigh-ins (not at the fight night), he would be crazy to sign a deal like the one you presented.

So either he is crazy (and ****** if he signed that), or he couldn't rehydrate due to bad weight cut, because his body was to drained.

first of all if the WW line is on the belt then its bull. WW means you can come up anywhere between 141 and 147 yes but there is no cathweight in the contract (145).

as for the actual agreed on weight i think its too much for pacman and just enough for cotto, cotto came in vs clottey at 146 and 1lb more isn't going to make too much difference. cotto is actually a mdeium sized WW, he still has a few lbs of fat on him and if he were rid of that i think 145 would be a doddle for him.

imo freddie knows that this weight has gone too far he initally wanted anyone of the WW guys at 142 but thats now been bumped up to 145. incidentally i remeber saying at the time that SSm and cotto would be fine for anything which was 145 or above but anything lower than that would be too much for them. listening to freddie it seems like he is uncomfortable with the weight and i don't expect any KO predictions to be coming from him this time around.

        cotto by KO in 8
