Excellent idea by all involved. It sounds too good to be true.

its a shame that JT an AA has to get it on first.......I like BOTH dudes the same........I'm rollin' with the AA-JT winner........with Froch as my dark horse......Kessler is my fav of the bunch but he's been inactive too long...... I still hope he does well tho'!

Dude I still can't believe this, but I have a question. Are the titles of the guys in play or every1 gets to keeps their titles?

My interpretation is that they would be in play as well, as long as the sanctioning organizations were cordial enough to sign off on the assigned opponents as fulfilling the mandatory obligations. And why wouldn't they? They've got 6 of the top 10 in the tournament.

So theoretically belts could change hands several times during the tourney.

From what I've read (Dan Rafael), all involved have agreed that the tournament gets priority over ABC titles, so I guess we may see someone vacate.

Ward is mandatory for Froch, so maybe they'll work that fight into it.

Dirrell is mandatory for Balzsay, so it's a shame that he isn't involved. Having said that, I don't think I'd pick him over the 6 guys who are participating, so the line-up is excellent as it is.

Still can't quite believe that something like this might actually happen. It sounds too good to be true.

I asked becuz what abt the guys who don't get a shot at the title. Also if let's say AA beats a super middleweight champion and he looses in his next fight he also looses the title?

I wish Pavlik was in this instead of Taylor. And Williams instead of Dirrell.
