Sounds like smoke and mirrors from Bute's team to excuse why they aren't taking part.
Both Rick Reeno and Dan Rafael are reporting that their sources had Bute's people not willing to commit to the tournament format.
It's a shame really because he deserves to be in it as much as anyone.Comment

Put Bute AND Andrade in the tournament and have their fight as one of the tournament matches. That makes it eight fighters in all and that number can be broken down eventually into four, then two, then one.Comment

A round robin tournament is much better than an elimination tournament.
Bute should go fight Pascal or Pavlik or Williams. There a good fights out there if he's not in the tourney.Comment

exacally what I was going to say. Its pretty dumb having Bute off this list. If they want the best sw's in the world, they need Bute there too. And Andrade can do more then hold his own against all of the above.Comment

Exactly Showtime has already had Bute fights, why wouldn't they have made an offer to him for the tournament. I hope Balszay, Green, and Bika can find a way to get involved too.Sounds like smoke and mirrors from Bute's team to excuse why they aren't taking part.
