Whaat? Did you watch boxing pre Lennox Lewis era? Quarry, Chuvalo, Shavers, Foreman, Liston, Frazier, Ali, Norton, Holmes... Would all be champs today. Eddie Chambers is trash because Eddie Chambers is trash, as are ******* and Kevin Johnson. You are mad if you think they are just as good as the top boxers from the 60-80's.

They wouldn't be much in the 90's or the 60's and 70's...

In the 80's they wudda had to deal with Tyson, Spinks, and Holmes.

There time is now...while the American heavyweights aren't prosperous

You basically just had the U.S. and Western Europe competing from the mid 80s on back.
Ruslan Chagaev clearly beat the legendary Felix Savon TWICE

Juan Carlos Gomez was one of the greatest cruiserweights of all time and is arguably the best Cuban Pro boxer of all time.

Vitali Klitschko destroyed Juan Carlos Gomez

I give Wlad and Vitali some credit...they came as the division was starting to weaken.

I thought this was settled when the best thing to come out of eastern europe, a prime Vitali Klitschko, was stopped by a past prime, poorly conditioned Lennox Lewis. Next best is his brother who has been knocked out 3 times by guys who nobody talks about anymore, because the three of them never amounted to anything.

How can you say the competition is anything more than garbage compared to nearly any other era?

I think that the europeans need some credit, how do we KNOW they would have been unable to produce anyone to compete with ali or Tyson?

To compete with tyson all they would of had to do was produce a fighter like Vitali!
