it's surely can't just be coincidence that they dominate the higher weights these days. i know all the american boys will argue that it's a **** era but the fact is pretty much as soon as they were allowed to fight pro they cleaned up, at HW at least

You mean the Ukrainians? The rest of the Russians are **** as a 46 year old Evander Holyfield and a 209 lb Eddie Chambers showed.

Beat the **** out of him eh? I reckon you didn't watch the fight.

Fat Eddie did well against him. The Chambers the violated Dimitrenko today beats the **** out of Povetkin. Povetkin will fade into Bolivian anyway. Wlad will dispose of him and the pudgy Russian will become a gate keeper.

Povetkin is too strong, too tough and has too much heart for Chambers

Povetkin would whoop his ass again

I think you mean soviet union, and the answer is yes, hell yes.

              America would not have dominated.

Its like if it wasnt for the political struggles in south africa, they would be the rugby number ones not the all blacks.

Obviously a different history, though to say that countries from the former Soviet dominate throughout like they do today is ridiculous. Hell if more talented boxers like Ibeabuchi from Africa had the opportunities to fight over here like they have today, or Cubans like Felix Savon, it'd be different. You basically just had the U.S. and Western Europe competing from the mid 80s on back.

And no it wouldn't be different. Eddie Chambers is the best American heavyweight today. "Back in the Day" the US would still be running **** in the heavyweight division. They've been pro for a while now and have yet to produce an ATG.

Jerry Quarry would beat Wlad like he stole something.

We'll see how tough he is when he quits on his stool because the pudgy bastard can't slip a jab against Wlad.
