if he doesnt choose to fight Williams then i would consider him ducking. problem also is right now WIlliams is campaigning at 160-154 right now.

Clottey was ready fo fight Williams on November 29 2008 but HBo did not have it in their budget and couldn't put up enough money to make the fight. So instead of taking less $$$ Williams elected to fight VVerno Phillips for a paper title at 154lbs. That fight was the on the same card as Travis Walker and Arreola.

As for Cotto telling Clottey to avenge his loss to Tony in case you haven't noticed Tony has been suspended for 1 year pending re instatement for the illegal hand wraps you moron. So unless Clottey want to sit on the sidelines out of work waiting around for Tony to get his boxing privelages back he needs to fight whm ever he can get in there with. Cotto and Clottey both are promoted by TOP RANK and Arum had no issues making the fight. Same as Arum was able to make the Cotto PAC fight with little to no issues because he promotes both of them

If PWill can still make WW at this time I would be wholly impressed. He been fighting at highers weights for a bit now and it's very difficult to go down in weight like that especially being the biggest WW in recent memory.

williams had a rematch clause on the contract. yes, he beat Q by Ko but quintana school him in the first fight. It was NOT a close fight. there's a lot of people that believe they need to fight again.
