    why because he is bigger?

Carlos Baldomir showed you that you will need more than size to beat floyd
Deigo Corralles showed you that you will need more than power to beat floyd
Oscar De la hoya showed you that you will need more than size and power to beat floyd.

What does Cotto do better in terms of boxing than JMM?

      WHY?

I said this many many many times before and I will say it again..

Whats change in cotto style since 2006? When he wasnt ready for Mayweather and people were calling him green?

      he still
      1. Swings wide,
      2. Waste Punches,
      3. has a weak chin
      4. Cant stop straight right hands or uppercuts,
      5. and is under progressing in the lateral movement department.

and this is when he said he was still green....????
what did he improve??? to say
"Cotto is the toughest fight for floyd stylistically" ...what did he improve..?

Cotto has always had a good jab, cotto has always had good speed....Cotto is a good fighter...real good...he is a good body puncher and works hard..
      so that hasnt change...

so what change so much that he is now ready to beat a fighter like mayweather...?

Cotto is just that bigger and is a threat at welterweight
was cotto a threat to clottey, mosley or margarito..when the going got tough cotto got on his bike in the case of margarito he ran out of ring

cotto is no more a threat to floyd then oscar was at 154.

horus these guys have seen all of floyds fights and are convinced it will take a bigger fighter then floyd to beat him. they are really clueless since floyd spars qwith 154-168 fighters in sparring rotating them in for a full 15 rounds.

cotto gasses within 6, so he is no threat to floyd at all. clottey and shane got robbed because they fought him in new york, if they had fought in vegas you would have a different outcome.

cotto is so overrated and margo showed he was not an leite level fighter that could ever handle a fighter like floyd.

im going to say cotto. if JMM was a little bit younger i can see the arguement for JMM but at this current point in each other's career i'd prefer cotto who hasnt been consistant as of late (ever since the second half of the margarito fight he's shown a lack of endurance and defense for some reason and only sometimes) to beat mayweather than a war torn JMM.

prime for prime jmm might be the better opponent for floyd but i have to admit that fight might not be the type thats exciting to watch for non dedicated boxing fans.

Cotto does nothing in terms of boxing better than Juan M. Marquez. to say he will be a tougher fight for floyd than JMM.. just based on Size and Power

Just like Ricky Hatton did nothing in terms of boxing better than Juan M. Marquez to say he will be a tougher fight for Pacquiao than JMM just based on Size and Power

Just like John Ruiz did nothing in terms of boxing better than Tarver to say
he will be a tougher fight for Roy Jones just based on Size and Power

When will you guys learn size doesnt always win fights...
Skills win fights. brains win fights, experience wins fights...

and JMM beats cotto in all of those departments.

SO can someone explain how stylistically cotto is a tougher fight for Floyd than JMM?

No disrespect or nothing but,if floyd spars with these big guys then why don't he fight a welterweight??

Funny, cuz I thought Cotto beat Mosley. You guys would argue anything. If somehow vitali were to fight Floyd remaining at their weight, Youd argue Floyd would just be too slick and fast for Vitali.

Sparring is entirely different from actualy fighting in the ring. Floyd should just move to Middleweight if its so easy for him. I cant believe this needs to be explained.

Floyd already said that no midget can beat him. Therefore cotto automatically is a tougher fight than jmm.

                  The floyd has spoken.
