    I feel sorry for Povetkin.

After working with Atlas, boxers go downhill. He makes Buddy McGirt seem like a world-class trainer.

    - Tyson lost on the Olympic trials some time after Atlas was fired as D'Amato's assistant, but because of Iron Mike's young age, he was able to rebound to become a great fighter
    - Grant was no longer a bona fide contender after his time with Atlas
    - Moorer won a title despite him, but then fell from contender status as Atlas got into his head
    - Lalonde feared for his life, as Atlas threatened to kill him

Working with this unstable egomaniac will be the biggest mistake of Poverkin's career.

i have to say that this whole trainer thing is really over-rated. the only time a trainer is really needed is when a fighter is first learning how to box, but after a fighter already has reached this world-class level a trainer is really just there if a fighter needs some kind of emotional support. and something about atlas buggs me he thinks hes the star of the show kind of like floyd sr and roach, they are media whores. a good trainer is seen and not heard by anyone else but their fighter
