If floyd beats Marquez,so what,he is supposed to win that fight,I know it and everyone else does too!!No one will be routing for Marquez because they believe he can beat floyd, this is what floyd does,he only fights fighters he knows he can beat,he's done that his whole career!!There are gate keepers at welterweight right now that would hop skip and jump at a chance that floyd has given to a lightweight!!Quintana and Collazo, just to name a couple!!!

Floyd is suppose to beat up a 36 year old lightweight. Who cares. #2 lb 4 lb is fine, but I forget about him. Pac is the biggest thing in boxing in right now so ima enjoy the ride while it lasts. I can promise 50 years from now people will be talking about pacman more than they will floyd, and pac will go down as the higher ATG. He's already been named fighter of the decade so this lb 4 lb stuff is irrelevant.Comment

So Floyd is ducking Cotto and Mosley one day, but then on another day you favor him to beat them?
You say "incredibly" favored over them meaning you do slightly favor Mayweather to win over Cotto and Mosley? You know when you say a fighter is ducking another fighter, you're accusing that fighter of being scared of that other fighter he;s avoiding, because he would lose to that fighter. That's what ducking is all about. But, you favor Floyd over two fighters he is allegedly 'ducking'?
My main question is this, when you say Floyd is ducking fighter A, but you favor Floyd to beat fighter A, do you mean Floyd is ducking a win over this fighter A?
Ducking: avoiding a loss.
In conclusion, you don't make any sense, what so ever.Comment

If Floyd gives Marquez the pound for pound fighter who many believe beat Manny and does that in an aunprecedented fashion.Let's say its a repeat of Gatti until Marquez's corner throws in the towel what will you think of Floyd Mayweather? How will you rate him against Pacquio and in the pound for pound rankings.Comment

Cotton received two gifts, Clottey clearly won the fight, Mosley landed the same amount of punches, and landed more power punches.
No shame in losing.
Everyone floyd beat was beaten by someone else in the last 8 years so what is your points?Comment

At the point of Pacquiao turning over Cotto, he will clearly have usurped Mayweather on accomplishments, and that makes up for whatever differential in perceived technical completeness would remain between the 2. Pacquiao keeps getting better and better anyway, a win over Cotto would be yet more evidence of his constant improvement and augmenting of his skillset - at that stage, when Pacquiao will have done what Mayweather didn't and was called on to do (step up and beat a beast, in Cotto, who should be considered the best welterweight around right now), who is to say such a great skill differential remains anymore? Skills have to be backed up by a test of those skills. Not to say that Floyd's haven't been tested, but Manny's certainly will have been tested more greatly. And it's a combination of ability and using it which will make either one of these guys the best of their era.
you sound ****** cotto is nowhere near the best welterweight right now. you forgot his destruction at the hands of margarito
and you conviently forgot how mosley just koed margarito..right now shane is the best welterweight not cotto and not pac.
and you say pac is fighting a beast in cotto, did cotto look like an unstoppable beast when he was running from mosley, clottey and margarito
get your facts straight cotto just got a gift over a real beast in clottey and pac is avoiding the best fighters again, who just happen to be black.
no guzman at 130, no campbell at 135, no bradley at 140, no mosley at 47, definitely not a coincodence. best of this era don't make me laughComment

I'm a supporter of Mayweather. Pacquiao hasn't beat up on any greater a number of washed-up fighters than Floyd.

Although Floyd could claw it back with a win over Pacman.
And that's what would make a Pac-Mayweather fight so interesting to me. It would be a unique test of where Manny's at, and any eventual outcome would be in no way attributable to such impure factors as weight and would hinge purely on skills. IMO.Comment
