This argument alone shows that
- comparing eras is unfair (because of the technical, nutritional etc advances)
- that b-level fighters could win against a-level fighters of previous eras.

Very simple concept, no?

"I didn't know that children are allowed to join this forum" -you cannot be serious.
kilitcho's have decent resume's with good wins, however theirs are not even remotely close to the calibre of Ali's resume.Last edited by Vadrigar.; 06-03-2010, 10:31 PM.

Vitali beat the guys that beat Wladimir
A 38 year old Lewis beat Vitali
A 43 year old Holmes beat Mercer more convincingly than prime Lewis.
A near prime Holmes struggled with Ken Norton.
and Ken Norton was a part of that 'golden age' of Heavyweights in the 70s.
what was my point from all that? To show one semi-logical reason that the heavyweights of the 70s are at LEAST on par with the heavyweights today.
I mean, if old man versions of the last generation can rival the next generation, that last generation must have been pretty good, right?

The problem is that Ali's co-trainer spread the rumor about the drugs and Foreman. If Klitschko's team would spread such rumors about Chris Byrd's loss then maybe one should think about erasing that win off Klitschko's record.
