JMM does almost everything better than cotto.

- jmm has never quit
- jmm has better combos
- jmm can make in fight adjustments
- jmm can war better than cotto
- jmm has better ring generalship
- jmm has a better right hand
- jmm has better stamina
- jmm has better head movement
- jmm gets along w/ his trainer
- jmm has never put nacho in a hospital
- jmm doesn't beat up his uncle
- etc...

the only thing jmm doesn't do better than cotto is commit to the body and he doesn't have cotto's power. that said, jmm is so much better, he doesn't have to rely on those 2 tricks... jmm has many many many tricks in his bag.

I pretty much agree with this. This is why I've never wanted to see a Floyd-Cotto fight, because Cotto is the weakest link at 147. I don't respect Mayweather for bypassing all the top Welters, but in my opinion Paul Williams, Shane Mosley, and Joshua Clottey would have given Mayweather a better run for his money and stood a better chance of beating him than Cotto. They just don't bring as much money to the table, that's all.

Unlike Mayweather or Mosley, Cotto has at least FACED 5 out of the 10 on that list and won 4/5 of those fights, with his only loss being to Margacheato. Mayweather has only fought 1 of those welterweights and that's his HOME division and Mosley has only fought 1 of them as well and actually turned down fights from two of them. Yet, Cotto is the weak link because he's faced the BEST in his division and beat them all, but one. I'll even let you call him the weak link but Jesus Christ at least he has the balls to face people in his division, and unlike the other two he doesn't turn down the challenge because there isn't enough money in it. Which is THE exact reason Mosley and Mayweather turned down Berto and Clottey, the risk isn't worth the reward. I'll definitely call Mayweather a ***** for doing it, but Mosley is old and faced the best in his prime which is something Mayweather at his current rate will never get a chance to do.

Wake up! Cotto didn't out muscle Shane he out boxed him. He is a better boxer than Marquez.
Marquez is great at a lighter weight class, he is a solid boxer with a great chin and so is Cotto in a heavier division.

marquez was able to last 24 rounds with manny pacquiao and cotto couldn't last 11 with antonio margarito!

I also think it's laughable how Cotto fans keep bringing up his win vs Mosley and Mosley struggle with Marg. First Cotto win over Shane he eeked out by 2-3 rounds max imo and he was on his bike in the championship rounds. This is vs a 37 yr old Mosley who tried to brawl rather then box for the majority of the fight. With ****m even at 37 if Mosley comes to box he will beat Cotto if they have a rematch in the next 6 months.

Mosley ****s harder, better chin by far, better boxer, faster hands and feet then Cotto and with Nasim has a good trainer who brings a tight plan. He is the hardest for pac at ww no doubt.

Then you got Mayweather im not sure really could possibly be better match for pac in theory due to weight difference being less and Money power not that worrying. But given Pac vs Marquez fights and Mayweather being a similar fighter but better then Marquez in the majority of departments makes me think Cotto would be easier.

Cotto is way too slow. His past opponents... he beats them up. He is not a risk for 1 punch KO power. He will never be set to land a hay maker, that he isnt use to throwing anyway. Pac will be all over him and around him.

Cotto dont fight well going backwards. Margarito blue printed that. Not to mention The pressure Pac Will be putting on him. Marg put pressure on him slower than Pac will.
