Lol, "Atlas curse." The only curse that Atlas is responsible for, is the 'f-bombs' he drops off air with Joe Tessitore...

Hopefully Teddy Atlas can teach Povetkin some head movement which is what he desperately needs in order to compete with the big heavyweights. Atlas did work with Tyson after all.
Teddy was just an assistant to Cus D'Amato for a brief time until he was fired.

There's no jinx. Atlas gets his predictions wrong because he always picks who he WANTS to win - he's not intelligent enough to overcome his own bias.

He likes Mayweather, and has always picked him to win.

I think Atlas still thinks the Cold War is going on or something..

Why would he want to train a Russian fighter if he thought the Cold War was going on? Also, he has been very nice to Wlad lately.

The lesser of 2 evils.. Povetkin should he beat Wlad.. would not defend his title a 3rd time before someone beat him.. hopefully an American..

Look .. I am not an unobservant person.. in fact I am quite the opposite..and I am rarely wrong when it comes to peoples transparencies..
Anyone with half a Brain knows Atlas absolutely cannot stand Wlad Kitschko..

I don't know how you could assume a Russian champ would be the lesser of two evils when according to your view of Atlas, he has the Cold War on his mind.

No one ever questioned your deduction skill, but they may be a bit off on this one. Mind reading powers can only work for so long.

That's the same fight that I saw. Povetkin has excellent stamina for a heavyweight.

Atlas was responsible for most of Tyson's early training. D'Amato was an aging man by then, it was Atlas and later Rooney who had the most to do with Tyson's actual training.

No, not "MOST" of it. He worked as D'Amato assistant only for a brief period of time.

If he works with Povetkin for the next two weeks, will you say he was responsible for Sasha winning Gold at the 2004 Olympics?
