this is using the triangle theory ..
and history has proven the triangle theory does not work in boxing...

    Every fight is different.

    Vargas beat Winky
    Winky beat Felix
    Felix beat Vargas

By your logics just because Vargas beat Winky..and Winky beat Tito..
that means Vargas should have beaten tito...

    Styles makes fights.

I made this similar argument after Williams lose to Quintana..

COTTO IS NOT THE man, BECAUSE Williams LOST....!!!

*How does Paul Williams Loss to Quantina proves that Cotto is the man….

“Because Cotto KO Quantina, and Quantina beats Williams means that Cotto is the ****..”

Well in that case let me use this logic to clear some **** up….:

Floyd would of beat the **** out of Joel Casamayor and Acelino Freitas because Diego Corrales beat both of them.and Floyd beat the **** out of Corrales

Floyd would of also beat the **** out of Kostya Tszyu because hatton tko Kotazu

    Floyd
would of beaten the **** out of Paul Spadafora because Gatti Knock Out Leonard Dorrin 22-0 and Leonard Dorrin got a draw Paul Spadafora. Most think that Dorin won that fight and Spadafora was received a gift. Because of the way Dorin control the fight

These are all fighters that People say Floyd Duck….

But using you guys logic now, It doesn’t matter if he duck them or not because he would beat the **** out of them anyways because the fighters floyd beat went on to beat those guys…….

You see how this logic works…

It doesnt let the Fighters fight the fighters...and this is what you guys been begging for since Floyd became number #1 P4P

But now it's ok and when it Comes to Cotto....

That fine with me because now we can all agree that Floyd doesnt have to fight nobody because Floyd has beaten people who has beaten people who want to fight Floyd.....

    LMAO

Even i dont agree with that and i am a Floyd fan....but this is the logic you guys want to apply...

Why is PW being written of after only 1 defeat?
Why was Carlos Quintana written off after only one defeat?
And why hasnt Margarito been Written off after 5 defeats..?

Thats the difference between mma and boxing, mma gives their fighters a chance and a shot at redemption...there fanbase is more loyal and less critical...PW will be back, and Carlos Quintana has came back….

    come on people...

    To the Cotto situation

People continue to say that Floyd is ducking Cotto but Any fighter would fight Oscar that includes Cotto, Cintron, Williams, and Margo. Margo has even went as far as issuing a challenge to Oscar. Arum was negotiating a fight with Oscar and not FLOYD! YOu can place the blame on Floyd all you want to. That is what hater's do. The FACT is Cotto/Arum didn't try to negotiate a contract or fight with FLoyd. His people didn't even contact Floyd, and Oscar did.

So don't act like Floyd is the anti-christ of boxing when he is doing what any other fighter would/wants to do.

How is Floyd Ducking Cotto when Cotto has never Called Floyd Out…!!!

And here is the most used Argument:

"When someone is the number one contender, he doesn't need to call you out. He has earned the right to fight the champion..."

So i guess Mayweather is ducking Andre Berto too, Since he is Mayweather Mandatory .. and Berto has earned the right to fight the Champion

(although berto has never called him out just like cotto)

    What is the Logic..??

You cant lose your belt by not fighting the #1 Contender
but you can lose your belt by not fighting your Mandatory

So technically, what fight has more Precedent?

But nobody has to say that Cotto is better than berto we all know that..

But if Cotto really wants to fight Floyd, Why doesn’t he act like the challenger he is and just open his mouth and say
“Floyd I want to fight you, and You only..

    But he hasn’t done that….

If Cotto wants the fight, Let him ask for the fight not his fans…

After all Like Floyd always says:
“The Fans cant fight for you..”

and in Cotto’s case the fans cant “Call out a Fighter for you..”

    HATE ON, HATERS....

your logic does not work because every fight is different.

But, he is not a better fighter than Mayweather.

that is not a bad thing to say about a fighter who was just a 1 handed fighter a few years ago.

Truth be told...Manny Pacquiao is just not a all around better fighter than Mayweather
        1. He is not a complete fighter.
        2. He is not a complete boxer
        3. He is not a technically sound boxer
        4. He still punches with his eyes close.

But this is ok...because Pacquiao is a fighter that is dangerous because he so explosive.and powerful. Thats sums up Pacquiao strengths.

        BUT
what makes boxing the ‘Sweet Science’ is not two guys just slugging it out in a 'see who falls first' scenario. It is seeing some real skill and artistry in the ring.

And Mayweather is the total package.

so lets not confuse Pacquiao's greatness as a fighter to Mayweather greatness as a fighter.

        Pacquiao is #2.
remember the only reason Pacquiao number#1 p4p is because mayweather retired.
he has improved, i agree... but, at what cost? that's what i really wonder? is he a fast learner? and i fso, what does that say about floyd? the **** that pac has improved on , floyd has been doing his whole career...how good will pac keep it all together? he is a a great fighter, no doubt, pac that is, but floyd mayweathe junior is that rare talent that makes need for pac to step it up, big time...floyd is the most gifted fighter technically speaking in boxing, and has been for many years...his overall talent over the past many years has been thst rare talent to live up to...and., i haven't seen it yet...

Only thing Pacquiao is superior to Floyd is in the handspeed department. Floyd's defense is better, better footwork, more intelligent, never taken a beating, and never lost.

I'm interested in how Pac would deal with a accurate slick counterpuncher like Floyd. I give Pac a chance but I don't see how he'd win.

He can throw fast crowd pleasing combinations against stationery opponents and those who like to slug it out but Floyd has never been an easy target...

I think Pac will have enough trouble with Cotto if the fight is made.

Captivating, inspiring and just plain out exciting much more what this sport needs than a arrogant floyd may jr.
completely agree with this post. plus what mike said about this being the pacquiao era.

PBF, I agree with this. it basic logic and commonsense. but
people are obviously judging Mayweather on a higher scale than pacquiao.

and that is fine, UNTIL they start saying they think Pacquiao is better than Mayweather.

Once they say Pacquiao is better than Mayweather they can not used double or higher standards no more. they have to judge mayweather and pacquiao on the same standards.

and once we used the same standards for Pacquiao and Mayweather.
the argument is not even close for who is the better fighter.

Now we are judging them on the same scale. and nomore curve for pacquiao since some people say he is now overall better than Mayweather.

                    Manny Pacquiao
                    • he's been knocked out in the first round before
                    • he got outboxed by a washed up Erik Morales
                    • Manny Pacquiao fought Marquez , knocked him down three times and still got a draw.

You have to remember when Manny Pacquiao was getting Knockout
Floyd Mayweather was winning fighter of the year awards and beat fighters like Genaro Hernandez.

You have to remember pacquiao was 21 years old when he got knock out in the 3 round ....

Ask yourself what was Mayweather doing when he was 21 years old?

.I will give you the answer.. He was winning Fighter of the year awards by knocking out fighters like Genaro Hernandez who never lost at 130.
By Knocking out fellow top ranked contenders like Angel Manfredy.

While Pacquiao was getting Knockout by No name opponents.. Mayweather was winning Fighter of the year awards by fighting world class opponents...

                    Just think about that..?

You have to remember the only reason Pacquiao is ranked poud for pound #1 is because Mayweather retired.

So when place and judge on the same standard...You can not seriously say Pacquiao is better than Mayweather.

                    Oh yeah Mayweather is undefeated.

Can you say Pacquiao Make it Though Floyd's Resume Undefeated....
Doing it at the same age, and the same circumstances as Floyd did....

I can tell you Mayweather would make it through Pacquiao's entire resume undefeated doing it at at the same age, and the same circumstances as Pacquiao.

                    • Pacquiao at 24 is not beating A Prime, Undisputed, Best Body Puncher in boxing in Jose Luis Castillo
                    • Pacquiao at 23 is not beating a Undefeated, Prime #5 P4P fighter Diego Corrales
                    • Pacquiao at 21 is not beating Genaro Hernandez
                    • Pacquiao at 23 is not beating A Prime #4 ranked in the division Jesus Chavez

Pacquiao was getting knocked out in the 3rd round by a fighter name Medgoen Singsurat when he was 21.. So you cant tell me he would beat a fighter like Genro at 21...

You can only say Pacquiao better than Mayweather when you are applying a double standard on Mayweather. Because if you judge them equally...
there is no way you can say Pacquiao is better than Mayweather.

                    no way.

Saying all this through Pacquiao is still a great fighter
