As a fan of Floyd, i can't criticize because Floyd went through the same thing that Calzaghe went through. Calzaghe, like Floyd, use to knock guys out from left to right before he badly fractured his hand. Floyd's KO ratio has decreased badly, the Hatton KO was after tagging him with everything but the kitchen sink.

If Calzaghe would have had his hand, half as healthy as he use to, Jones , Lacy, and even Kessler would have most likely lost by late stoppage or TKO in the latter rounds like 10-12th. Hopkins would have been the only one to go the distance and a prime Roy too.

But the problem is, Prime Calzaghe didn't have half the work rate that he had after he broke his hand. After he broke his hand he had to adjust to another style to win decisions, and that was of course with his superior stamina, he adjusted to winning on work rate. Floyd has the stamina but he is so defensive that he adjusted to winning fights on accuracy via decisions.

I thought he went easy the last 3-4 rounds for sure, im pretty sure he could have forced a stoppage even with his lack of power. The Showboating were he dodges a few punches and dances was a bit earlier then the late rounds, which i found funny at the time.
