he had a shot jones, hit him with more punches than any other man, a guy who supposedly has a glass chin, cut him like he aint never been cut before, a guy who barely threw any punches, and he still couldnt knock him out!!!.....pathetic!!!!

Calzaghe hasn't been much of a puncher since breaking his hand before in his career, hence the "slapping"... he did that to use his speed because if he kept using his power he would just injure his hands. I think he possibly could have KO'd Jones but had enough respect to hold back, it might sound weird... but by the way he was beating him I was pretty certain he could have stopped him.

I honestly thought he would stop Roy, not because he was ever a ferocious puncher but because he had, had hand troubles in the past, only this time he was sitting down on his shots in training and looking to punch harder, i heard him say he was looking to punch harder in this fight, however he could not get Jones out there even when Jones looked ready to be taken, it left me thinking WTF.
