A smart boxer with power and durability can dominate Maidana. Fortunately for him, there aren't too many of those type of fighters in the 140 lb division.
I think he is to wild to be any good in boxing. Is not like his brawling style has any skill, He's just throwing off balance punches like his fighting on a school yard or something like that.

If he can fight smart and learn some boxing basics he could be good with that power, but from what I saw last night he is nothing but a bum with power.

Maidana is not beating any top fighter at 140 or anywhere else.

If Maidana gets a shot at any other fighter in the divison besides Bradley I'll be more than willing to bet points that Marcos wins

He's got to have something special looking at his record. There's no way a fighter has that many ko's and isn't a good fighter.Underrated I think for sure.Only got a split decision loss to Kotelnik part from that 25 25 ko's.Defintley think he deserves another shot at Kotelnik or the Khan Kotelnik winner because how close the cards were.Very dangerous for Khan if he gets past Kotelnik because of his knockout power.

                The feeling is mutual.

Maidana sucks ass. What did he do that was boxing or displayed basic fundamentals?

He did not jab, move his head, deflect blows with his gloves, cut off the ring correctly, no uppercuts.

He has power so every punch was a wild swing which Ortiz saw coming miles away because Maidana is slow.

Now Ortiz fought his fight and that why he lost but any basic boxer will beat this guy.

He is another Mayorga and Torres...Power can only get you so far, you have to know how to box...

He's a horrible boxer with outstanding potential, definitely a warrior. The problem is that he'll get picked apart by a better fighter. With a good trainer, who knows though.
