He's tough as hell and he packs a punch. If he can turn the fight into a brawl I'd give him a good chance of beating a lot of the other 140 lbers but I don't think he'd beat Pac or JMM

i think maidana win a remach with Andriy Kotelnik and by KO, and have chance with Khan and hatton. but with the potencial fighter he dont have the instruments and talent to win

hegot great power but needs to work on a poroud defence... It all come down to how much he wants to improve... he's madd sloppy... he won but getting dropped allot will only shortin your career.

Maidana sucks ass

He's not a good fighter at all, any boxer with fundamentals and defense will beat him.

He a Mayorga and Torres with power....just don't fight his fight. Ortiz would have beat this kid if he had fought smart.

He's an awsome fighter just not a great boxer. Actually not a boxer at all but he obviously does'nt care he's got wicked power and a strong will.

I think he makes up for his lack of boxing skill with great intangibles....

Solid chin.
Strong Mental.
Heart.

And most important...The guy will walk through hell with gasoline draws on for a win.

I respect that most of all.

Even if he isn't the best fighter in the world...I will still watch his next fight without a doubt.

That's not saying much against him, most people would be "dead" against Pac or Marquez. He looks decent enough to put up a good fight against the players at that weight. He made a fan out of me, I don't think hes going to be a great, but I'll definitely watch his fights.
