I think he gave us a good fight and will surely be back, hopefully better than ever and with the mind set to now make sure he doesn't do what wankers like the majority of this board want him to do.

Get over yourselves you bunch of hypocritical ******. Every single one of you would ****e your pants in a second if faced with the prospect of some guy across the ring who has knocked out every single one of his opponents, and he wants to literally pulverize your face into moosh.

Oh, wait, that's right, you all just sit on your arses and play on your computer typing about a fighter who gives you entertainment as being a ***** for providing you with one of the best fights of the year so far! You ****ing bunch of wanking **** ******s. Damn, I'm sick of hearing pathetic little kids whine about a fighter quitting. How many of you have been smashed in the face over and over by a guy with serious power? None of you! Christ, Id like to take a bat to some of you losers calling him a quitter or a *****. Not a single one of you who call him that would even know what it's like to step into that ring and fight someone desperate to kick your head in. You all disgust me.

    Great post, green given!

good post bro well said! I mean you want him to be a veggie winning a fight so young and ruin the rest of his career... he's got tallent and will earn from this fight... the reality of this boxingscene is we have to listen to some guys with a skewed sense of reality looking at everything in absolutes that have never laced up a pair or have been buzzed to see the physical effacts... it's scary and then on top of that when this is your livley hood... it's not a smart move to keep going in a fight that is clearly a stepping stone... Ortiz is NOT VARGAS!!!

All great fighters have losses and when made then great is how the rebounded from them...

        ****IONG GREAT POST BRO!!!

This sport is what it was from the onset a brutal full contact entertainment with each athlete knowing the consequences before stepping through the ropes. With that said, if Maidana through his hands up in frustration and said "no mas" he'd be the worse thing since herpes.

          Peace
          1) dude where you stand, it's unfortunate that your cultural perspectives of another group of human beings is so bias...

          2) I agree completely I'm not sure about the Maidana quitting... if you look at the history of boxing PEOPLE DIED IN THIS SPORT. He made the right move for his career. he'll be back.

The bottom line is that he quit. He knew what he was getting into when he started his career in boxing. You cant expect to beat everyone up and not have someone beat you up. I respect him for getting into the ring but the truth is the truth.

the reason why Victor Ortiz get all this bashing because, there were many ortiz fan who actually thought he can take on manny pacquiao. Then add his ******ed interview and you see why all this bashing came from. Yeah he quit, but he quit against a guy who isnt skilled. A guy who just wildly threw punches. ortiz lack of D, and chin are exposed.
