They won't demand so much a fight with Margo since the 'loading' incident and due to the way Mosley manhandled him. But it would have been interesting to see that bout.

A fight with Mosley is overdue and could be his next fight after fighting the winner of Cotto-Pacquiao.

Mayweather is great and can choose to retire now with, according to him, nothing else to prove in the sport, and he may be right. He's done his thing, received his accolades, and made his money.

But he came back to regain his status (throne) as the P4P best, and has a 'Hit List' of fighters he wants to meet to prove his greatness.

I prefer to wait and see how he performs for a couple or a few more years
before I'm confident enough to call him the greatest.

Who knows? He may decide to stick around for five more years to really prove himself to his fans and critics.
mayweather has alot to prove in this sport still. He has avoided cotto for a very long time now, 2 years or so cotto has wanted to fight him. Im very happy that cotto wil lget pacquiao cause if he wins then mayweather cant duck him anymore. Whats he gunna say cotto is still to green? lol but yea cotto vs mayweather will be a classic that i cant even make up odds for it. cant wait

Anfonio Plasterito is a joke. The laughing stock of boxing and can do nothing to regain his rep IMO, and I don't really know that PW will ever fight at 147 again. The older you get, the harder it is at that height especially.

            For sure. It's inevitable.

I'm sure they'll meet unless Arum is still around and decides to throw a monkey wrench into the plan.

If he fights and beats JMM(#2 P4P), Pac or Cotto(winner will or may be #1 P4P), and Mosley( Top 6 P4P), especially in a row, his legacy as the best fighter of this generation and one of the very best ever is undoubtedly cemented no matter what any haters will say. That's a tall order for anyone however, and as great as I think he is age is catching up and I feel he will slip and lose at least once somewhere in there. I don't think it will be to Pacquiao though.

You never know it seems people have forgave Mosley for his steroid abuse.

                    quoted for truth.

He's a phenomenal athlete with great natural talent as a boxer and to tell you the truth i think he's relied on that a lot in his career but now as he begins to get older (not old...but older) his relexes will slow down and natural talent along will not be enough to be a p4p fighter, much less THEE TOP p4p fighter.

I have to give him all the credit in the world for coming off of the longest layoff of his career and going straight into the fire against someone like marquez. he could have easily taken a tune-up fight (free on HBO not PPV) just to test the waters again and get a good sense of timing back against a worthy opponent (just not a top 10 p4p fighter).

he could have easily comeback to fought a top 10 welter who is still not on that level like an andre berto or someone of that caliber opponent and not many of us would have argued the decision...being off for nearly two years earns you a tune-up fight.

So he deserves his credit there. and he deserves his credit for all the great work he's done in the ring...the chess matches he's won with his brains, natural talent and excellent boxing technique.

outside of the ring its a different story...its true...he acts like a teenage rap star (aka. soulja boy; lil bow wow; etc)...aka ******ed...all the money throwing (when apparently he has money problems), ****yness (in excessive amounts), and just overall attitude...it sucks...when he has a camera infront of him he loses his mind sometimes (in my opinion).

but thats the man on the outside...we all have fighters we admire INSIDE the ring and dislike OUTSIDE of it...ali was the same way...for the longest ali was hated by his fans but i think the way ali conducted himself was more entertaining...hatton's trainer billy G had it right during a 24/7 interview in which he said (regarding mayweather's antics), "he's a wannabe ali but he's missed the point"...that sums it up in my opinion.

but all the praise in the world for the victories...exciting moments...and coming back from a long layoff and jumping straight in with a top p4p fighter.

The thing about Floyd that I don't think people see is that he doesn't rely on just his athleticism and reflexes that RJJ did. He's extremely quick and athletic no doubt but I feel Floyd relies more on ring intelligence and skills. I see him as a more athletic version of BHop. I don't see Floyd having the problems that Roy did when age caught up with him. At least not nearly as much. Roy was perhaps the most quick P4P and athletic fighter ever, and once that wasn't there to the extent that it used to be you see what happened. Floyd does it differently.
