face it, you are wound up by his ego and personality why? because of your own insecurity in life. Quite frankly its pathetic. I have no problem with people who hate floyd but recognise his greatness. It's the countless pre-pubescent hate threads that seem to appear day after day that annoy me.

Basically I recognise that Floyd and Pac are two of the greatest fighters of their generation. I recognise that Cotto and Mosley are top WW fighters. So I leave it at that and enjoy whatever comes my way involving the aformentioned fighters.

Floyd Mayweather is my favorite fighter, no doubt. Not even close. ive been a big fan since 1996. I do think he's the best fighter in the sport(although we'll have to see how the layoff affects him) but he is not pound for pound #1. To me P4P is a combination of skills, talent, and resume. Skills and talent are top notch but as far as resume goes Pac has overtaken him within Floyds layoff. Floyd did a lot but recently hasn't done a ton although I give him proper recognition for wrecking Hatton. Floyd is a better fighter IMO than Pacquiao, Mosley, Cotto, etc. but it's not enough to just think someone will beat those guys and think he is better. it must be proven to be considered P4P. I'm not saying he ducked anyone because I don't really think he has. He's just fought the guys for the most money and in his return he wanted a fight that will involve a big name even though he's smaller to shake the rust off. If he beats JMM and Pacquiao(or Cotto shall he win), which I truly hope and believe that he will, I will put him back up there #1, and I hope he will fight Mosley if Mosley hasn't lost by that time. The good thing is that these fights can be made. I hate comparing sports but it's kind of like the guy you consider the best hitter in baseball. He may be the best but say he sits out the games where the top pitchers in the league are playing. I don't think you can consider him MVP at that point if he doesn't take on the best opposittion. Floyd is a special athlete, no doubt, but he must beat some of these guys. You can't just put him on a pedestal as #1 based on performances from years ago. And that goes with any sport.

Well, I haven't met the guy... so I can't say, which you can respect. I mean, some people might have seen him around and though he was a complete **** and other might have gotten the idea of him being a good guy if you know what I mean?

It all depends on your opinion I guess, I have never met the guy so I can't say he is a ****head or anything... all I know is when I see him in the laid back interviews he seems to look like he is being himself more (like I said I could be wrong).

I also cannot understand why floyd is being criticized for fighting a top pound for pound fighter in JMM, which is essentially a tune up fight, in what surely must be the most demanding tune up fight of all time.

Floyd hasnt fought in two years, and people want him to go straight after Cotto and PAC. crazy. Forget his ludicrous claims and outspokeness regarding the fight, Floyd vs JMM is what it is. It's also a golden opportunity for JMM. The fight will sell. That wont be an issue. I cant wait to see the PPV numbers which will no doubt be more than respectable.

I don't like the way he's always talking about how he has so much money and flaunts it. I mean that's cool but you don't have to do that. It just looks ******. I mean Oscar has WAY more money so he could throw it around a lot more but having money doesn't make you a better person.

As far as the trash talk and everything else I love it. I mean this is the fighting business and trash talk brings excitement. I think more fighters should do it. I think Floyd said it best on the Marquez 24/7 sneek peek when he said more fighters don't do it because they are afraid what people will say if they lose and he says **** it it is what it is.. if you're gonna come get me come and get me.

If he didn't do all the trash talk he would probably have the drawing power of Shane Mosley so I don't think you can really critiscize him for it.
