Steve isnt a bad boxer, he's a little undersized n lacking power which is horrible for him considering he tries to fight on the outside n he will never be able to beat a guy like Caballero cuz he doesnt have the pop to keep him off or the defense n speed to be effective outside n avoid damage. Caballero aint no jk either that's a bad mofo right there, Caballero vs Juanma would be amazing...Cotto Margarito except the puerto rican dude should win that one

Watch Molitor's 5 title defenses before Caballero. He's a decent boxer. Good movement, good boxing skills but as it was mentioned before he doesn't have any power. I think the Caballero fight destroyed him mentally. He had lost that fight after the 1st time Caballero hit him, he was so scared u can see it...unfortunately i don't see any future title wins in Molitor's future.

What a lot of people need to remember too, is that Caballero shouldn't even be a unified titlist. The IBF belt that Molitor had was stripped from Izzy. And I never thought that Caballero could beat Rafa, Juan Ma, or Izzy. I saw him struggle against a C-level opponent on the Marquez-Vasquez II undercard. I want to see Lopez fight Caballero, but the only reason is that it will crown a Ring champ at 122. Lopez will steel this guy's girlfreind and lunch money.

he was an excellent boxer before the beltran defence.after that fight he fired chris Johnson his trainer(who groomed him to the title)& he hasn't been the same.Johnson made him agressive & was very busy but now since that stefan larouche took over he's turned him into a retreating counterpuncher & he's 2-1 & he looked timid.Johnson had him 27-0 coming of 5 solid outings in title fights(hunt,ndlovu,3k battery,castillo,beltran)& wanted molitor to head to the states since some big $ promoters were knocking on the door,he considered it & had a falling out with his current promoter.he patched things up & instead fired chris Johnson.larouche has changed his style for the worse.I'd fire larouche & try & get Johnson back.he was glowing with confidence while under johnson guidance now he's a timid looking & isn't anywhere the same fighter.he needs to get back to being agressive & throwing more combinations.that made up for his lack of power.now he's not busy or agressive so guys like caballero just come right after him because he doesn't hit hard but if he was active & agressive like when he was under Johnson his opponents wouldn't be so eager to jump in because theyed get hit with combinations.he's a shell of his former self but there is time to get it right.it sounds like he may fight for the ibf belt vs a guy he already knocked out.ndlovu vs someone else in an eliminator the winner gets molitor.caballero can't make weight so the doors open for Steve still.

he must get rid of stefan larouche as a trainer.bring back chris Johnson! He's an excellent trainer.he knows how to get the most out of molitor.people can't forget molitors fitness program under Johnson was what cyclist lance Armstrong uses.so he was never out of shape & 12 rounds isn't a problem.there's lots to work with.
