i doubt it.....since pacman beat his "guy" in two vwry close, disputed fights, it would seem as if he'd have something against roach and pacquiao.....the fact that he's picking them to win doesn't sound like he's pissed at pacman at all......why can't ppl give their opinions without being labeled a "hater"?

Surprising analysis, to say the least. I also wonder if there are any ulterior motives behind Nacho's words. Then again, if there's anyone with knowledge on facing Pacquiao, it's Nacho.

If he gets that old style back for this fight, it is not going to be pretty for pacman. Now if he stays with the style he's had since margarito fight then pacman has a chance to beat him. We just don't know which style will be at that fight.
to me i think what he went through with clottey will give him that mental edge back. knowing he can endure 9 rds with that gash letting his guard down to wipe it and getting hit yet still fight to victory. u can tell in his interviews since his mentality is approaching where it was b4.

              cotto' s power

i dont think thats going to happen, first we have to see if pacquiao can take cotto' s power punches. cotto is a true welter weight and knows how to box too, cotto is no hatton or a washed up de la hoya. pacman is going to have to be really careful in this one.

I agree to some extent. I now believe that the MargoCheato incident took something from Cotto. He just does not look the same to me but one thing we have learned from all of this is that He does have a tremendous heart and will not back down from anybody. If manny wins it will be by UD, I do not see manny having as easy time as he did with Hatton with Cotto. Even though he is not the same boxer he still is much better boxing abilities than Hatton ever did. This will go 12 rounds ladies!

you guys need to give credit to pac for fighting the way he does. not give excuses.
I give Pac all the credit in the world. He is an amazing fighter with surprising power in both hands and incredible speed. That being said, I knew he was going to beat Hatton. I told everybody I knew. Im not trying to hoot my own horn but Hatton, while very solid, was never a pound for pound caliber fighter. The quick KO did surprise me (I had it at round 6) and that just speaks to Pac and Roach's game plan. Cotto, however, is a completely different animal. Cotto would have destroyed Hatton at 140 if they would have fought before Cotto started having to drain himself before fights a la Ricardo Torres. He was a skeleton; Take a look at the weigh-in photos for proof.

I see Cotto/Pac as a pretty even fight and would not be surprised for it to go the distance. If it does, and Cotto doesnt knock him down a couple of times I think Pac wins. If I had to bet, which I may, id put down Cotto by KO as long as the fight is at 145.
