with hatton.... my oppinion is that hes a very good fighter with a solid fanbase but to be honest he was overrated.

so with that being said.. if cotto did say that **** about hatton....

cotto is more right about ricky hatton being over rated than nacho saying that clottey is not a top level fighter.

i think they're both wrong TBH mell....

Don't understand why they are questions of Cotto demons on the lost to Margo. The last fight he fought with a tremendous gash leaking blood into his eye the was clearly bothering him. I didn't see him even try to give up and kept on fighting against a formidable well prepared boxer. At this point catch weight issues or past performances shouldn't matter and its gonna boil down to the best man that night. This is a very even fight at this point.

That is a problem for cotto with the latter rds but i return the problem for on how he'll be able to adjust to the bodyshots that cotto will be unleashing at him. I understand pacquiao is a moving target but at one point in every rd he will be hit with body shots that have done to fighters what plaster has done, which is wear down the fighters. Pacman will get tired as well from the onslaught of body shot that he will receive rd after rd.

Well..if you look at the DLH fight he tried to give bodyshots to PACQUAIO and as usual goes away from it (DE LA HOYA that is) Hatton did the same thing and PACQUAIO took it..I know that Cotto is a much harder body puncher than DLH AND Hatton, but the problem is COTTO is not like HATTON who holds and punches. PACQUIAO will probably fight Cotto in the same manner he fought DLH, but will probably use more upper cuts to open up Cotto's chin. With that said, anything is possible, definetly will be PACQUIAO's hardest fight, but just like PR fans, I'm gonna be biased and say that PACQUIAO prevails as a filipino fan. As far as my avatar, yeah he is still bodybuilding, but i think he is trying to put more size without sacrificing his conditioning, they now have a 202lbs and under weight class which will help him compete in the pros. He got his pro card finally last year or two years ago. He is the one that got me into bodybuilding and still motivate me today. With that said, much respect to COTTO AND PR boxing. GO PACQUIAO..MAKE US PROUD AGAIN.

Exactly what i'm trying to say. Yes, pacman will be a moving target like floyd but with every body shot that he receives from cotto it is a toll on his stamina. Remember cotto has not seen a fighter as fast as pacman....but..pacman has not been with a fighter as strong as cotto. GOOD MATCH ! We need to stop being personal and enjoy that 2 of the best will be fighting.

I agree with you, lets not make this pesonal and enjoy the moment. Your right about the body shots, but i just don't see PACQUIAO standing there too long to take those body shots and I think in the later rounds PACQUIAO is going to time COTTO'S left hook to the body and when this happens Cotto will be expose for a punch in the chin, which can end the fight. Now if Cotto does take PACQUIAO's punches it will be a long night for PACQUIAO. Now with that said, everyone keeps saying in the past that DLH has a suspect chin, but I've seen him get hit and knockdown before but was not really hurt unlike Cotto. What i'm trying to say is that DLH's chin is stronger than Cotto's chin, but DLH has a weak body, which HOPKINS expose, and PACQUIAO did expose some of it, when he threw some punches to DLH's body. DLH you can see in his face that he does not like body punches. With that said I don't think that COTTO getting KO is too far fetch, so does PACQUAIO getting KO. May the best man win...

That right there is the problem...No one is hating on YOU! Just cause Cotto is not everyone's wet dream, or nationality, and don't see him as the best thing since sliced bread, doesn't mean folks are hating on all ricans...Please stop thinking like this.

Nacho has a point about Clottey not being an elite level fighter. People need to remember that Margarito beat Clottey more convincingly than what Cotto did. I think Pacquiao could've beaten Clottey to be honest. Clottey is a big Welterweight, but he doesn't have punching power that amounts to anything. Pacquiao is going to put hurt on Cotto.
