He already had to move up to 140 because the titlist at 135 were ducking him.he's the king at 140. why does he have to move up to 147 for?
was he gonna get any big money fights there?
the big money fight guys were at 140 before too and didn't fight him or skipped the division altogether.
how come hopkins took so long to move up from 160?
how come pryor didn't move up to 147 'til the end of his career?
not everybody moves up and down weight classes.
some greats do.
some greats don't.
Oscar was set to fight Tszyu after Tszyu beat Vince Phillips... He didn't.Comment

i recognize more, but does he have a more notable win than mosely? seriously dude, tszyu is over rated...... i recognize darnell "ding-a-ling" wilson when i see him, but that doesnt make him worth mentioning.....Comment

well according to flawless , pryor can't be considered a great fighter because he stayed as champion at 140 instead of trying to fight at 147.
pryor was a junior welterweight dude.
he might have have had a few fights under 140 in the beginning but he's a junior welter.Comment

and not to mention, cottos resume is better than a retired tszyu, and cotto still has mega fights left in him.....Comment

if you say so.
you're entitled to your opinion. you're wrong though.Comment

No, he was a lightweight for 20+ fights Kenty and the other titlist didn't want any so he moved up and got Cervantes. The announcers even say it in the Pryor-Cervantes fight.
I'm not debating your argument, even though not moving up in weight does take off some luster off a resume, I'm debating that point cuz you're wrong.Comment

he has not achieved more than tszyu. that's the point.
cotto is the more current fighter.
his opponents are fresh in mind.
10-15 years from now people who are new to boxing will look at guys like torres , abdulaev , corley , etc. the same way you look at guys like hurtado , bergman , jake rodriguez , hugo pineda , etc.Comment
