Why is Bernard continuing to get a pass for the Zaghe fight?

FACTS:

Hopkins chased the rematch.

Mosley did just as much 'holding' of Margarito, and that seemed to be fine. It's so strange that the fans who seem to hate Hopkins and love Calzaghe, talk about the holding then say it's just a part of Ricky Hattons style though, so it's different.

It's also part of Hopkins style, but that doesn't change the fact that he overused the tactic in this fight.

Hopkins and holding go hand in hand, but the ammount of holding he did in this fight gives the impression of a man who was fighting scared.

I will give him props for chasing the rematch, although part of me thinks this was more of a "I was well beaten but still got a SD, if I do a little more next time I might squeeze a robbery".

None of that has to do with whether or not Hopkins was scared. I have moved passed Calzaghe/Hopkins because I admire both fighters. What I'm saying is, you can't call that the act of a scared man. Scared peope don't professionally call someone out. In the media, they might. To pose a front. However, he did this thru businessmen. Scared man wouldn't do that.

Why would Joe give him a rematch, did Bernard actually deserve one? Do we as fans deserve to see another shameful performance by Bernard? Thank god Joe didn't accept it and spared him. It's just like Bhop lost the staredown with Eastman and then jumped up again to the podium only to walk away again and lose the staredown a second time.

Last I remeber that didn't happen against Zaghe, more like the opposite. Tarver and Tito were defeated at the press conference. Zaghe never gave a ****, Hopkins looked shook, the weigh in was actually real funny

I like Calzaghe, I don't mind him saying this. But you can't be of the mind that it's okay for him to talk, but not for Hopkins to chase a rematch.

What did Zaghe say that he didn't do? He said he'd beat him and that's what he did, he was upset with Bhop's talk and his performance because it so hypocritical so why give rematch to an assshole who would fight again negative and scared trying to foul his was in.
