It's simple why the fight with Margarito fight didn't happen.
At the time Oscar hated Arum and wouldn't fight Floyd if he was with Arum. So Floyd bought out his contract so he could fight Oscar.

Simple math tells me that 10 mill that Floyd made against Baldomir and 25 mill that Floyd made against Oscar is more than the 8 mill he would have made against Margarito.
