I would actually rather see Pavlik fight Paul Williams to be honest. This fight has lost it's luster from the powers that be stalling it. And on top of that, Abraham really doesn't deserve to fight Pavlik, even though Pavlik is ducking him. People have to remember that he got his IBF title by default. There are just too many ham and eggers on Arthur's resume. I think Margarito could beat everybody on Abraham's record except for Miranda maybe, but I doubt Miranda could even handle Margarito.

Abraham doesn't DESERVE to fight Pavlik but Paul Williams does? LMAO.

Howcome you think Williams is more deserving?

My post explains it. I view Abraham-Pavlik as a toss up fight, but Paul Williams just has a better resume than Abraham. And he poses the tougher challenge to Pavlik than Abraham does in my view.

Please explain how Williams has a better resumé. That might be a classic post.

beating margarito and winky is better than the two miranda wins. seriously, its not like we know abraham is an elite fighter, we are just going off of speculation and potential. sorry.

As for Abe, i got a quote that can easily explain his situation. Its from a wise man named z-ro.

"A king dont have to wear his crown to rule."

So beating a WW a couple years ago paired with a win over a 37 year old after a two year layoff is a better middleweight resumé than that of the Abrahammer?

Is there even any Americans in the top 10 at middleweight. I mean with the exception of Kelly and perhaps Winky Wright. Middleweight is kind of a weak division in my eyes right now. I guess you can consider Pav, Abraham, Sturm the top dogs...with Paul Williams I guess. Anthony Mundine but I don't see him fighting any of these guys in the near future.
