I duno if steward can really make any big difference for cotto..i mean maybe if they had more time together (if he even trains him for the mp fight)...wonder if steward is gonna pull off what he did in the second cintron margarito fight if cotto loses...that man wasted no time to get the fawk outta there and was back commenting like nothing happened...fcked up but funny

Sounds like Steward is aching to get some fame with the 24/7 series after seeing Mayweather Sr. and Roach being treated like little celebrities, I'm sure he's alittle jealous at the moment. Of course, I think he'll definitely make some improvements to Cotto but ultimately not all that much as this will be the FIRST time working with Cotto and look how bad Hatton-Floyd was after what was it, their 2nd or 3rd time together?

I dunno if i like it... I mean manny likes bigger guys with reach advantage and then develops a style like lennox lewis... for smaller fighters i don't think he's done much. vivian harris, Jermain taylor... i dunno.... i don't think he will add much to the puzzle.

Not what I saw when Vivan Harris fought Maussa.

Steward is washed up. He hasn't done **** as a trainer recently. His advice in the corner sucks.

I mentioned this as soon as Cotto got the nod at the garden. If this is true then this is ****ing great! I know Steward can fix Cotto's bad habits.. SHould be interesting! =)
What bad habits does he fix? What has Steward done recently. Hes not an elite trainer no more.

Cotto has some bad habits that i think his former trainers have not addressed. Steward if he sees those bad habits will address them and can make Cotto the fighter that he should be. I think he might get cotto to an area that cotto has been missing in awhile and that is the "tyson i am going to brutalize you" attitude. If Cotto gets pacman in trouble he needs to have no mercy and force pacman to never box again by punishing him so bad that other fighters will not want to fight cotto. At one point that was cotto and somehow he became a boxer instead of an animal. Tyson had that even with bad fighters and cotto needs to bring the ruthless style again.

Don't be gentle with pacman, show him that he has never faced a fighter that has as much power as cotto. Yes, cotto will be facing the fastest fighter he has ever faced but cotto needs to punish pacman to point where his ribs/kidney will prevent him from throwing....that's the cotto i want to see.
