Cotto should be number 1 WW right now. Mosley only has 1 good win against a top WW in the last few years and that was against plaster less Margacheato who's mind was not really in that fight because he got cought cheating.

I don't go out of my way to constantly bash Cotto, but this is a nuthuggish thread toward him in my view. When did Cotto ever express any interest in fighting Shane Mosley in a rematch? I never heard it. It's just that Shane flat out said that he didn't want to get ripped off in Madison Square Garden like he did the first time, and wanted the rematch out west. That doesn't mean Cotto called him out. And if Cotto wanted to fight Mosley bad enough he would scrap these negotiations with Pacquiao and fight Shane. Both fighters are to blame for chasing Pacquiao. And Cotto isn't cleaning out the division. Barely scraping by a guy with a low work rate and winning a vacant belt off the guy who was the #1 threat to your throne isn't cleaning out the division. Nobody is stepping up to the plate in my opinion.
