i mean seriously..mosley beat margo..but hell margo was never the lineal champ..he was just a title holder..so mosley has no leverage on cotto for that.....mosley is just a belt holder not a lineal champ and he hasnt done jack **** since winning the belt...no bait thread cotto should be #1 at ww honestly

you make a great point and i agree.

however to make it official i think mosley and cotto should fight again since the first fight was so close and entertaining.

If the second fight were to happen BEFORE cotto fights pacman it will be an even fight if cotto beats mosley in a rematch.

cotto would be the top WW in the world fighting pacman who is the p4p champ of the world with the winner squaring off against floyd in 2010 in what should be a huge fight.

everyone wins; the fans, media, promoters, etc.

no one really loses...it would be entertaining as well as extremely profitable. im surprised no boxing promoter or anyone in the media has mentioned anything like this reguarding pacman, floyd, and the WW's in general (seeing as how its one of the deepest divisions in all of boxing currently).

Cotto is ahead of Mosley because of a head to head... if that's the case then Margarito has to be ahead of Cotto, because he won head to head... so how does #3 Mosley beating #1 Margarito mess with the rankings?

It's just one of those things that you have to deal with in a sport where styles make fights, and there is no such thing as a "better" fighter, because there can be triangles like this so easily.
