For those one that hate Cotto let me tell you something, because he said Pacquiao has 2 arms like him people should not get offend it with that statement. That is the real true about that. I like Pacquiao a lot, but I believe he is not challenging a piece of **** boxer, he will be fighting the best WW at this moment, Pacquiao will give up by the 8 round, he will be KO, that will be the sad reality. Cotto cannot be compared by De la Hoya, Hatton or Diaz.

Cotto cant be compared to Hatton,DLH and Diaz. but he for damn sure cant compare to Morales,MAB and the great counter puncher Marquez. Mosley is the best WW right now, and Pac is gonna quit??? HAHAHA. he might quit because his hands will hurt from hiting Cotto so damn much

I think he needs to beat Marquez CONVINCINGLY to really say that, or beat a Joan Guzman, Nate Campbell, etc. He fights the same types of fighters and beats them. Joan Guzman came up through classes with Pac but he's never fought him. I think it says something. No one ever mentions it, I wonder why?

Eventhough I'm not all convinced with Miguel Cotto over all
skills, I have to say that he is one tough guy and has proven
that he can take a punch pretty well at 147 and after fighting
with that bad cut above his eye and still being able to get through
the fight with Clottey you have to take into consideration that
he is not a push over. Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter and
has tremendous speed but this time he ain't fighting a punching
bag, Cotto is coming to fight. All I have to say is that if
Manny can evade Cotto and counter him without getting hit
he has a chance but if Miguel Cotto lays gloves on him the fight
can be ended. Cotto dropped Clottey with a jab. Manny has
been rocked by lesser punchers. I'm not making up my mind
on who will win but if people think Manny is going to walk through
Cotto, I would have to strongly disagree. Cotto has fought
Mosley, Margarito and now Clottey, all three being the strongest
at 147, have to give him his. Cotto may not be my favorite
but he does fight. Roach will have to make sure Manny is
conditioned to take some punches.

i was impressed with the WAY pacman beat oscar and hatton......but let's keep the wins themselves in perspective.

regardless, i think pacman is the real deal, and any1 who thinks cotto is gonna walk through this guy, regardless of how many pounds he puts on fight night, is delusional....

I say this, if it took 11 rounds for a heavy hitter like Margarito(plaster or no plaster) to bring down Cotto, how long do you think it will take Manny who is obviously a lighter puncher? I don't think Manny will be able to wear Cotto down the same way.

well obviously pac can't do cotto the same way marg did. with marg, cotto was against punches he could see coming so he was able to defend against most of them. pac won't wear down cotto with a few crushing blows, he'll wear him down with 1000 moderate punches.
