    He's no choir boy.
Yeah bro, I acknowledged your posts yesterday and I think I might have given some green K? Whatever, I still do not believe for one second that Manny wants to go around battering unhealthy fighters. The demands are coming from Roach. It wasn't long ago when I was watching an interview with Manny where he was saying he can fight at 140 or 147, it doesn't matter to him. I believe his word on that.

Only nuthuggers can.

Which is what a Pac-Cotto fight at anything lower than 146 will end up like as well. Anyone giving Pac credit for beating him will always be subjected to the grilling of "Well, had he faced him at 147 it would've been a different story". I'd rather not see any of that stuff at all, because it'll be tiresome to discuss over and over again for years to come.

      PittyPat,

Pacquiao's punches if not heavy, are not "PittyPat" punches. as samurai have pointed out & the valero camp have also stated this as well about pacquiao's punching power.

If that's not enough to convince you, i suggest u ask ricky hatton's cerebellum.

Snappy hands at 140, and against a defence-lacking guy whose punch resistance was severely withered. I'm not taking anything away from that win as it was totally legit and Hatton got punked out worse than anyone this year, but we've seen with some guys what happens between the strange boundary of 140 and 147.

Hatton, who belongs at 140, couldn't carry any of his power up with him at 147 to make a difference; whereas Cotto, who almost seemed weak in his later days at 140, seemed to find more power at 147 and it's resulted in the feared machine we see today. As for Pac, we still haven't seen what his power is really like at 147. A shrivelled-up Oscar doesn't count.

I'm not a fan of either Pac nor Cotto, but I'll readily acknowledge that they are the best in their respective divisions. I just feel that this is one time where weight classes should not cross paths.

Man, this is getting too heavy for one night. I'm scrambling my brain thinking of all these numbers now. :shk1: G'night!

Make no mistake about it, what Pacquiao wants, Pacquiao gets.

          Pacquiao is Harry Truman....

The buck stop with him. Did it ever cross your mind that he wants a catch weight & in order not to look bad he makes his team say it?

          Team Pacquiao = Manny Pacquiao.

I love Pacman but if see bull**** i will call it bull****.

Manny is not immune to bull****.
Does it cross your mind that they want a catchweight do Cotto does not weight back up to 160 157 and out weigh pac by so much. This is to keep it real...Its not like pac is coming in as the stronger and bigger guy...per say.
Regardless people will believe it is an advantage because they know Pac will ****in destroy Cotto easy!!! People forget Pac was a 130 pounder 1 year ago!!!!!!!

i dont have a problem with the catchweight. even if cotto agrees to 144,43 he will be a junior middleweight at the very least come fight night. im only saying pac aint the innocent angel that he's portrayed to be. thats all. & thats coming from a big pacquiao fan.

Pacquiao is very loyal to his handlers. He will trust roach and do what Roach says out of loyalty. He is P4P king and they made that happen for him. Even though Pacquiao did the fighting, they did the match making.
