I know, eh! All that build-up and hype for a so-called 'fight' at 143, but Cotto would just do what he wants and show up at 147 to make a point - "You're in my territory now, son". Roach and Pac would look so fuckin dumb.

Just to piss people off, y'know.
There was a $,$$$,$$$.$$ penalty for the ODH-Pac for either side coming in over 147lbs at the weigh in, I believe.

Even then, I reckon it'd be worth the $$$ just to see the look on Roach's face when he'd realise his boy would get pulverised in there. If he pulled Pac out, they'd both look like the biggest ******* of the millenium.

Pac will fight anyone. Pitty Pat, you're normally a good poster. Now I can't help but be disappointed.

what if miguel says no to a penalty? he's already conceding every single aspect of the negotiations. team pacquiao would look unreasonable if the fight didnt get made because not only did they get everysingle advantage but the fight wont happen because they couldnt get a penalty clause?

if miguel says no to a penalty clause it wont be a deal breaker granted that team pac already won in almost every other sticking point.

I only responded in jest with all this stuff because I'm still irritated that this fight seems to be going ahead, and that the moronic stans are all over it like a rash. Pac's pissing me off with his ***** demands, and so is Cotto for still pursuing it and taking interest (especially after that close sc**** with Clottey).

Like mangler has said on a good few occasions, there are plenty of other fights that should be happening at both 140 and 147 - but not between Pac and Cotto. It's ruining the real dream fights out there.

See, it's not Pacquiao making these demands, it's his team. Don't be pissed of at Manny, dude is a warrior, he would fight Wlad Klitschko with a 100lb disadvantage if he was told to.

Granted, it may be Pac's team acting as a mouthpiece for him, but the guy is perfectly capable of speaking for himself. If he's such a warrior - which I have no doubt that he is, after the amazing career he's had - then he should take charge and outline what he wants.

I don't want to hear Roach chatting **** about getting Cotto "out of his comfort zone" and making some sort of plan to ruin him at a lower weight. He sounds pathetic for saying that kind of stuff - as if he has no faith that his boy could step up, like he did against De La Zombie.

But then, at least he's somewhat honest in those statements. He knows Pac would look pretty silly going up against a genuine 147 tank.

Sure, he did step up, but Oscar also stepped down. Oscar was the one calling the shots, he wanted it at 147.
