Most probably Schaefer and Dela Hoya's GBP is losing quite a sum of money due to the postponement of the PBF vs JMM fight. I would recommend for Schaefer and Dela Hoya to fight in the ring to compensate for the monetary losses they had incurred. LOL

Lady Fan, there is NO proof about low ticket sales... just rumors, they could be doing absolutely ****, they could be doing good, who knows.

I do think Richard Shaefer is exaggerating a bit, but you can't suddenly make an assumption that it is true because he denied it. Saying "He is just denying it through embarrassment" is kinda an ignorant comment.

In all fairness, if the rumors were true... Shaefer wouldn't admit it, but he isn't gonna agree to something if its complete bull**** either. It goes by the old "Look hes denying it!" thing you hear at times... when at the end of the day you aren't gonna admit to something that aint true.

So just saying that IS ignorant, and this isn't much of a template as to how good or bad the ticket sales are going. Once again, I think the ticket sales would do better regardless of how good or bad they are doing if they had the prices lower... I don't care what anybody says, the prices are pretty expensive for somebodies comeback fight.

Oh and would you please stop with those huge slide shows at the end of your fucking posts?!

If Mayweather/Marquez tops Hatton/Pac, you can't say Mayweather is not a draw. I personally think that without anyone in the boxing game that's going to draw crowds to fill stadiums near they're weight class, they need each other to make the fight. 50/50 split or winner gets 10 percent of losers purse.

The difference is Pacquiao wouldn't have to delay his fight 2 months to get extra ticket sales.

People have got a point when they say Floyd has an ego about his self worth. The PPVs he did with DLH and Hatton were not because of him. He does deserve points at the negotiation table with Pac as far as his fights with DLH and Hatton doing better numbers though. But that was when the economy wasn't struggling like it is. The fact that Schaeffer has to come up with an explanation of denying rumors about ticket sales really hurts Floyd's negotiating leverage with big name fighters. The Mexican boxing fans will be the back bone of this fight promotion, and that is why in my view the purse split between JMM and Mayweather should've been at least close to even.

No kidding man. They are slowing the forum down like crazy. And that's why I'm making another post on this thread. So I can get to the bottom of it.
