How does Froch resume look now Pascal won ?

Calzaghe claimed that 'Jean Pascal is NOT world class'

I think he is and that Froch's emphatic win over the tough Canadian is a going to be regarded in the future as a GREAT win.

Froch vs Pascal was a close fight imo i gave it to Froch by 1 point. It was a very good win for Froch.

A great win is an overstatement, it was a real good fight and a good win though. Pascal has to do more than just beat Diaconu to be considered a great win for Froch.

Adamek is the linear Ring champ 25 pounds north and he still isn't considered a great win for Chad Dawson.

Froch won the Pascal fight 7 rounds to 5 in my eyes, but some rounds were close, so could have gone either way.

Pascal could have won if he had concentrated on his skills, and not get into the brawl that favours Carl. It also looked like he had stamina issues in the Froch fight, which also showed in the latter stages of the Diacanu fight.

Pascal could give any 168-175 a tough fight, but needs to fight his way using his skills more effectively. One thing is for sure, you know you get your moneys worth with him fighting.

It does make Froch's resume better though.

it was a good win but at the same time pascal moved up to beat diaconu...so its not as great as it may seem..against froch pascal looked gassed in the later rounds even tho i think froch easily won that match(in the later rounds) but tonight pascal looked much more comfortable!!!!!!

it is a very good win for Froch,

if he managed to beat Bute, you have to but him on the cusp of P4P lists.

Imagine if Froch was actually a little more talented?...he'd be scary.

It looks a bit better. Pascal ain't gr8, but wit Froch and Diancou (still gotta see it for myself) he showed he was damn tough, so Froch gets a lil boost.

Calzaghe was commenting on the basis of Pascal's record at the time, and even now one alphabelt title, and a vacant one at that, doesn't make a fighter 'world class', certainly compared to someone like Calzaghe.

That said, this was a great win for Pascal against a quality opponent. Froch's resume must be improved as a result, although how much only the future will tell.
