I agree with this 110%. Cotto himself said that he could grind down to 144 with no problem, he's still going to outweigh Pacquiao by at least 17 pounds on fight night. This is a reason I believe Cotto is going to batter down Pacquiao and make it look unfair, because he just will have a huge advantage. Now, street bully, if pacquiao wants LESS than 144, that is handicapping and you got to admit that, these guys do a lot to cut down weight and if you cut TOO much you affect performace ( meaning 142/143), but Cotto is still the better man IMO. Good post man!
I say this in the most respectfull way possible:Cotto stans (not fans) have NO heart.

All this bickering back and forth about who is the bigger draw or what weight they will fight ...**** if we can't agree how the hell is Manny and Cotto camps going to agree? I'm not gonna get excited about this fight until it's sign sealed and delivered on fight night. Until then it's a boxing fan's wet dream hoping to cum true...lolComment

Question aint directed at me but...
I wouldn't call Pac a blown up featherweight. I think he's a natural 135 pounder now...
And I would give him credit if he beat Cotto at 145 or 147. But if its at 145 I wouldn't consider him a champion at 147 really...
And Pac looks bad in the fact that he was willing to go to 147 to fight Oscar but against a real fighter he won't...
Did you say before Oscar by 1st degree Murder?
Circumstances between Oscar and Cotto are worlds apart. Pacquiao just fought once at 135, and you want him to move up another 19 pounds just to fight Oscar at 154? That fight was already labeled as a circus, imagine what people will say if the fight was made at 154? They fought at a "meet" weight, which was at 147, Pacman went 2 divisions up, while Oscar went 1 division down.
Now tell me, what's your beef with Pacman fighting Oscar at 147?Comment

Street Bully, I disagree. Pacquiao should man up and face Cotto at 147. Why wouldn't he want to recieve full credit for the win?Comment

The DLH fight fooled a lotta cats into thinkin Pac is really a WW, which he ain't. It also showed how disastrous it can be for a bigger guy to drop down in weight. I think at 147 Cotto got this easily. If he agrees to a catchweight that's on him. No way to know whether he'll be strong or not til the fight happens. But the thought of him comin in weakened and gettin massacred by Pac bothers some cats who support him. I been sayin all along they should worry about guys in their own divisions, but looks like the fight is goin down, so we'll just have to wait n see.Comment
